Marine Corp Bombing Exhibition

The Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) bombing exhibition is a training exercise that is conducted by the United States Marine Corps to demonstrate the readiness of the United States armed forces. It is held annually as part of an air show at MCAS Miramar in San Diego, California that features the US Navy Blue Angels, plane and helicopter acrobatics and parachutists, among others.

The purpose of this event is to train and demonstrate the readiness of US military personnel and their abilities. It is The Marines are given a specific task in a simulated combat exercise. The idea is to replicate how a marine might be able to perform in combat.  It features the F-35 fighter jet, an aircraft that the Marines use in combat. The Marines also use armored vehicles and helicopters to transport the troops and the armored vehicles.  

The exhibition is a must see for any aviation enthusiast.The public got to see what it is like to have an F-35 fighter plane bomb an enemy target. The MCAS Air Show exhibition is an annual event that has been taking place for almost 70 years.  The exercise is often used as a main event to celebrate the Marine Corps birthday.
